But more important than why, is HOW we can rise above that negative mindstate and not only regain our creative productivity, but achieve satisfying and fruitful accomplishments. We must strive to find methods that allow us to become healthier eaters, thinkers, talkers and yes, lovers.
Here are some methods I employ to return to a positive state of mind:
1) Read the Bible.
2) Pray.
3) Meditate (during a session, I'll analyze every thought that comes into my head. I try to become "mindful" of the thoughts I entertain and analyze their root causes)
4) Study Buddhist principles on the ego and relinquishing unhealthy "cravings" and desires. Even attachment.
5) Take a long hot shower.
6) Go for a long walk.
7) Visit a website called succcess.org. It has helped me SO much in the past.
